Rife Frequency Therapy: What It Is and What to Expect

Rife frequency therapy foot bath session at Eternal Wellness

This post is educational and does not replace care from your healthcare provider. Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The simple explanation

Rife frequency therapy uses specific electromagnetic frequencies delivered through a foot bath, a light bulb, or both at the same time. The idea is straightforward: every cell in your body operates at certain frequencies, and introducing targeted frequencies may help support your body's own processes.

It's named after Royal Raymond Rife, a researcher who explored the relationship between frequency and cellular health in the early twentieth century. Today, practitioners like us use modern devices to deliver those frequencies in a comfortable, relaxed setting.

What a session actually looks like

You sit in a chair, place your feet in a warm foot bath, and relax. That's it. Most clients read, close their eyes, or just enjoy the quiet. A typical session runs thirty to sixty minutes depending on the program.

If you're doing a dual session — foot bath plus the TrueRife bulb — the bulb sits nearby and delivers light-based frequencies at the same time. Clients often describe the experience as deeply relaxing.

There's no pain, no needles, and no recovery time. You walk in, sit down, and walk out. Most of the moms we work with use it as one of the only times in their week when nobody is asking them for anything.

How we decide which frequencies to use

This is where EDS testing makes a difference. Rather than running a generic program, we can use your electrodermal screening results to build a frequency set that's informed by what your body is actually showing us.

That's why we offer Rife sessions both with and without testing:

  • With EDS testing — your session is built around your results. This is our recommendation for first-time clients or anyone starting a new protocol.
  • Without testing — for returning clients who are continuing a program we've already mapped out together.

You can see all four Rife program options on our services page.

What Rife therapy is not

  • It's not a medical treatment. We don't claim it cures, treats, or diagnoses anything.
  • It's not a replacement for working with your doctor on serious health concerns.
  • It's not a one-session fix. Most clients who see meaningful shifts commit to a series of sessions over weeks or months.

The 90-day TrueRife program

For clients who own a TrueRife generator, we offer a custom 90-day TrueRife program built around a hair-and-saliva EDS test. That test gives us a detailed starting point, and we build a three-month frequency plan from it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Rife frequency therapy safe?

For most healthy adults, yes — sessions are non-invasive and most clients describe them as relaxing. As always, it's not a substitute for medical care, and you should talk with your doctor if you have a pacemaker, are pregnant, or have any condition you'd like cleared before starting something new.

How often should I come in?

It depends on the program. Some clients do a series over a few weeks; others do monthly maintenance once they've completed an initial protocol. We figure that out together based on what your goals are.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes — Rife therapy is gentle enough for older children, and we tailor sessions accordingly. We also offer EDS testing for children if you're not sure where to start.

Do I need EDS testing first?

Not necessarily. If you're new, we recommend it because it lets us personalize the frequency program. But returning clients who already have a plan can book stand-alone sessions.

If you're curious

A short phone consult is the best starting point. We can talk through what you're dealing with and figure out whether Rife therapy, EDS testing, or something else is the right first step.
